About This File

Sorcerer (Williams 1985) AltSound 2.0 Gsound

Here is my Altsound version G-sound for the table Sorcerer !

G-sound format offers better adjustment regarding the volume of music, sfx and callout!

Open the file "altsound.ini" present in the archive and at the bottom you will find what to adjust the different volumes as well as ducks.

Enjoy

*** If you don't have sound, have a look at Redbone's solution in the comments.

* To use G-sound, Vpinmame 3.6 or later is necessary.

Pas encore testé mais c'est forcément meilleur que le son d'origine qui est juste insupportable.

@Dicentim

C'est clair ^^ Ils ne fesaient pas beaucoup d'efforts à l'époque niveau son/musique parfois...

The original sound are horrible and you really did a great job on this one.

I can finally play this table for more than one game at a time

Thank you.

What a nice altsound for this nice but hard table with terrible nerve wrecking sounds. Now this one plays as mentioned! Thanks a lot Chrispring!

The table artwork and theme is enthralling and transcends time but the audio has aged to the point where I would not play the table if I had to listen to it. :excl:

So I have to say you've done outstanding work, here. The music especially is tough to select that fits the theme and doesn't wear out its welcome. But you've done it all just right. Thank you so much for your efforts in revitalising this gem of a table. It's just great to hear;);););)

What a wonderful altsound! This is the most transformative altsound I've ever used and it significantly elevates the table. Instantly, everything feels modern and that wretched sound emulation is no more. You simply must try it! Thank you for your work, @chrispring ❤️ I can't wait to try your other altsound packages :)

Though I do respect the original sounds of this table.  They do get a bit aggravating after a while. @chrispring take, gives you both a more suiting and soothing experience. Music is especially well done and does indeed fit this fantasy theme. Love how it changes during gameplay and multi ball. I now actually feel calm when the balls drain (happens a lot.. lol). This altsound is highly recommended to everyone who ragequits Sorcerer. Great work!

Simply brilliant!!! The table is elevated ! Excellent work

All that's left is an update by @UnclePaulie to bring it up to the 10.8 standard.
