Swamp Thing 2.1.1 Bayou Edition (LTek 2024)

... Much Beauty in the swamp, if you only look

*** Table Goals ***

1. could be real and do everything this virtual version does in the real world (smoke is possible!)

2. battles challenging for pinball vets with play easy enough for even beginners (not always draining balls)

3. visual depth and several little things that players will notice more as time goes on - and when they are observers not players. All without distracting from game play (the heart beat, glowing red eye, blood in the water after battles, glowing swamp changes on different actions, and more)

4. audio that will keep you immersed. Not just the music/callouts (mostly the doing of Clairvius) but others like wood hit sound for targets, wood rolling sounds on ramps, etc)

  *** CREDITS ***

- LTek v2.x Bayou Edition ... full visual remodel, changes to battles, skillshot, and much more
- Clairvius v1.0 ... reskin and audio update of from Serious Sam II table by JPSalas  (amazing audio selections and overall concept!)

Wow, great update, thanks for the VR, Fleep Sounds and nFozzy/Roth Physics Robbie King Pin and Ext2k!!! Table looks great and now feels great too, it's good fun and I can't get that Bayou tune out of my head.

Response from the author:

Thank you for being a big part of making this table happen, and being a thorough (and patient!) tester. My first time coding missions/battles and you were awesome at testing them.

Wow, this table really looks good. If you told me is was a 2024 Stern release I would be looking for it at the local arcade!  Changing the Flying Gator toy's position really helped it. I didn't realize it was a flying gator until now!  Also love the theme music. Great job all around, thank you!

Response from the author:

I appreciate the kind words and most of all happy people are enjoying playing it as much as I do. I had a few goals with this table...

1. could be real and do everything this virtual version does in the real world (smoke is possible!)

2. battles challenging for pinball vets but game play easy enough for even beginners (made it harder to drain balls)

3. visual depth and several little things that players will notice more as time goes on... and when they are observers not players... without distracting from game play (the heart beat, glowing red eye, blood in the water after battles, glowing swamp changes on different actions, and more)

4. audio that will keep you immersed. Not just the music/callouts (mostly the doing of Clairvius) but others like wood hit sound for targets, wood rolling sounds on ramps, etc)

Fun table! Thank you for sharing your work, The table has some nice features like the fog that gets more intense throughout the mode etc. I enjoy the gameplay and physics. Very cool!

Ps: for my personal use I switched out some of the music (as I am not a big metal fan) for  work of Ari Pulkkinen , tuned some textures (playfield, trees, figurines) and swapped the ball image to my favorite.
