Jurassic Park 30th LE Stern 2023 Tribute

Ok so I've been playing this table a lot since it dropped and I don't understand how more people aren't going nuts over it.  This tribute is as faithful as batman 66 or guardians OTG -- its a beautiful recreation and VERY fun to play.   Fantastic job on this.  

I can only hope someone (or a crew of someones, I know its often a group effort), with your skills is off working on a Stern Godzilla tribute

This tribute is incredible, it's the best version of Jurassic Park, If you could contact with the people of VPW to improve this table, it could end up being one of the best tables on VPX.

The table works from what I can tell, but as  VR player, the models for this table make it unplayable. Ramps/ball rails are broke or partially missing, shots feel off from the real table, and it just looks like a flat screen with some random half baked 3-d elements thrown in. I’m giving it 3 stars because The Pup pack is pretty faithful to the real deal which is cool, but that’s the best I can say for right now. Hopefully the author can make an update that will make it more playable for us VR folk

We need more people like RebelB doing things like this. Fantastic effort.

It is a very heavy table, hard to run for older systems (even if I reducing the quality of PUP videos). Also, it might be only me, but the  puppack crashes after a while.

For some people it might work, but whilst a better verision might come out some day, this is what I found out testing it.

so laggy, it's unplayable for me with all the requirements (and big PC configuration).

Pupack seems really great

Playfield quality seems weird (for example impossible to read the instruction card)

Don't know what to do to improve that

Playfield is great, just like the real thing. PUP Pack is accurate and nice but delayed here & there. Ramps and physics are janky are the biggest issue here for me. Overall though, a great first attempt at this table. I can't wait to see progress.

Great start to the table! Gives me an idea on how the audio package and video package and playfield is from the original table that i might never get to play. Thanks!

3 screen setup and works fine.

I had a real jp stern pro and this Works fine for a 1.0 version.

Great job.

Control room modes won't start. Sometimes no backgrount sound for few second.

Play's almost as a real spike 2 stern.

Skip bonus screens with flippers would be nice.

Afther 3 months of play i prefer this one because of the original feel.

I hope this one gets more development.

This review is meant to inform and educate. 

For people who are new to this hobby virtual pinball started by people scanning tables and creating tributes to their favorite tables. These tributes were meant as digital preservation. What @RebelB did is amazing work in digital preservation. 

To address what some have said about VPW. They're a team of people who are skilled and specialize in many different talents. @RebelB is one person working on this creation. He didn't steal and change aspects of a table that suited his taste like another on another site. Please be respectful and courteous to the people who are spending hours of their day creating these tables. Is it perfect no and that's ok.

Thanks for the work looks great but the puppack does not work correctly.

The videos do not trigger during events, no sound, the start screen remains permanently and the bonus screen time between balls is quite long. Unfortunately it's unplayable. Any ideas while waiting for an update ?

Nice table but pup crashes for me making the table unplayable.

It's a start, but the table is not playable. You can only shoot the ball around scoring. Moreover, the ball gets stuck at the bumpers often or bounces around there for a long time before getting stuck.

I didn't play the first version, but v2.0 is incredible. Some PoV issues like others have mentioned. Also, its necessary, at least on my setup, to turn off the backglass w PinUpPackEditor.exe. Otherwise, the PuPPack will crash at the end of the first game. Turning off the backglass makes multiple sessions possible.

Sterns JP is an incredibly complicated pin and that is what really drew me in to this table. I'm not sure if the ruleset is 1:1 to the real table because I suck, but from what I saw, the rules were very accurate. This is already a great table, and some polish will only make it that much better.

Great job this table is amazing.  Having some random crashes and pov issues but if these get fixed it will be perfect.

Awesome table! Works perfect on my 2-screen setup. It would be great to see more development of selection the scenes by shooting the truck. Skipping the calculation of the score by holding each flipper would be a nice addition also. Great work so far!

 I really like the way this table plays!  The pup pack is a very well done effort as well.
