🏆 World of Virtual Pinball — Weekly Championship
 

How It Works

Each week features two pinball challenges:

Main Challenge — worth 100% of points

Extra Challenge — held every two weeks and worth 50% points

You can play one, both, or every challenge throughout the season. Every score contributes towards your overall championship position.

🎮 Tables & Requirements

VPX tables only

Using NFOZZY is recommended where available, but it is not mandatory.

You must use the exact table and ROM version specified in the challenge Terms & Conditions.

Tables must be played using default settings, including physics, difficulty, number of balls, and other gameplay settings.

📅 Weekly Schedule

Each challenge runs for 7 days:

Sunday 7:00 PM UTC → Following Sunday 7:00 PM UTC

You can submit scores as many times as you wish during the challenge period. Your highest valid score will count.

All submitted scores are automatically validated by AI and/or administrators and are visible on the World of Virtual Pinball leaderboard.

🥇 Championship Points & Divisions

Points are awarded for participating and for your finishing position within your division, with 1st place receiving the highest number of points.

New players begin in the lowest division.

You must play at least once during each season to remain active.

Week 12 — the final challenge of the season — is worth double points.

After 12 weeks:

The Top 8 players in each division are promoted.

The Bottom 8 players are relegated.

Players who have not submitted a score for the entire 12-week season are moved back to the lowest division.

Continued inactivity may result in the player being removed from the championship.

The goal is to maintain an active championship — we want players, not spectators!

📸 Score Submission Requirements

Every submitted score must include:

✅ A photo showing your final score and DMD
✅ A FULL playfield photograph, including both flippers
✅ The correct table and ROM version
✅ Default gameplay settings

Alternate sounds

PUP Packs

These are permitted as long as they do not alter the required gameplay settings.

❌ Not Permitted

High Score or Grand Champion displays must not be used as your submitted score.

Buy-ins and continues are not permitted.

The submitted photograph must clearly show the actual final score from the completed game.

🎯 Why Not Join Us?

We already have more than 1,300 registered players, including some seriously talented players from other virtual pinball leagues.

But you don't have to be an expert to take part.

Whether you're chasing the podium, fighting for promotion, trying to avoid relegation, or simply looking to improve your scores, everyone has a place in the championship.

It's about playing, competing, improving and having fun with other virtual pinball players.

With multiple divisions, promotion and relegation, there is always something to play for.
