Such a beautiful table to begin with and we made it even better. @Silversurfer redrew the playfield which inspired us to take on updating it and with @klodo81 permission we dived in deep. Big thanks to @GordonJames for testing and holding our feet to the fire on some really detailed things that bring even more realism to the table. Check out those standup targets! Updating with something marked final/official can also mess up your system if you do it wrong or something goes awry. The latest beta releases work for 99% of the people here, so it's most likely something on your end. Why give the table a 1-star review when your issue has nothing to do with the table itself? Are you going to give 1-star reviews to all tables that no longer work on your system because something is messed up on your end? Look, I understand you're frustrated, it usually takes a lot of work to get our systems working the way we want them, but that's why we make backups in case something doesn't go as planned. There are A LOT of very competent troubleshooters on this site ready to assist you with your problem. Good luck! 🍻8 likes

This table has come MILES from where it started. Behind the scenes was fraught with crazy issues like floating balls and a T-Rex that just would not cooperate. Flux and crew tackled each part one at a time till all were fixed and then the beautification began. Oh my. Have they succeeded or what!? This table is absolutely gorgeous. The lighting so perfectly dialed in, everything so crisp. The feel is so natural- just slam the captive ball and you'll see what I mean. Never have I see a captive ball hit feel so right. I could gush about this baby all day long but better to just play for yourself! Thanks yet again @VPinWorkshop for another glorious recreation! Absolutely, undeniably gorgeous @ebor. It was a pleasure watching you work, taking all care to capture details accurately and faithful to the original design intentions. Who knew there could be so much nuance in a leather jacket?! And the easter eggs, oh my Even on the simplest of panels the attention to gradients and complimentary colors is outstanding. As one of the biggest CFTBL fans (in all its forms) I salute you sir. You should be extremely proud- you deserve to be!5 likes

What a beauty. You guys have outdone yourselves again. The detail on this is staggering when you get close. The artwork is so well done. Vectoring it must have took quite some time. Back glass, play field, plastics all recreated to perfection. And it looks like you did more cosmetic work on it since yesterday. The plastics in particular stand out. Contrasty, bright without being blown out or over lightened, saturated, gorgeous. Another thing I like about this one is It doesn't require any work to make it look good. LUT's are there, ball looks great with a dim or bright table. The background isn't so bright i have to disable it. All the stuff I usually have to do is unnecessary. It's perfect as Is. Thanks for sharing your hard work with us!5 likes

thanks man.... so the secret sauce is to not have a life... i've also been using photoshop for as long as there's been a photoshop... so my workflow is second nature now.... I also understand the b2s designer and all its limitations... so I can blow out most b2s files in a few hours... as we speak I have around 30 b2s files in my surplus to post every other day or so....5 likes

OMG. You've finished this machine already ? Been putting it a bit aside, wanting to get the "new" experience. You guys are absolutely nailing it in all aspects. Spectrum and Earthshaker was a huge success last weekend. We had such fun and Jurassic has been a table we've often played. But, well, once a machine has gone through your process I know, all previous versions is obsoleted and I will have something that looks stunning and plays very well. Thank you so much guys. ❤️❤️4 likes

For those having issues with the Pup Pack, I will re-configure it on my day off. I think the issue has to do with the Pup using dmd triggers and it's not activating correctly on some setups. I'm going to replace the dmd trigger for the main backglass loop video and set it to be triggered instead when you push the start button. That hopefully should fix the issue. @lanch723 @embryodead4 likes

Completely understand why this didn't survive in the wild. It's Mastermind! Even as a board game you have to decide you're setting aside time and brain power to play it and in the pinball world the two just don't normally mesh. Thankfully this VPX table allows us to take the time to learn it at home Very well done, very beautiful graphically and yeah very intimidating! Right flipper launches the ball and once you do you gotta keep them flippers up and ready! Thanks for another wild one @VPinWorkshop. Box checked! Attaching a desktop res file for use with @hauntfreaks awesome b2s. Spectrum (Bally 1981) VPW v1.0.res4 likes

This yet another @VPinWorkshop masterpiece. These guys should have a museum! I've shopped out and restored at least 3 earthshakers over the years and this baby comes so close to the real thing, not just visually but playwise as well, it's uncanny. Just as frustrating to play as the real thing! "Ok, one more try, lets go, dammit" Beautifully done guys thanks a million!4 likes

I really don't understand what issues you are having or why whatever lighting is happening to you. Think about it for a minute... do you really think I'd release something with a huge bug and horrible flashers / lighting... and then force everyone to update a script to values to make it work a little better? I've personally developed and tested this table on four different PCs with various hardware. One laptop (i5 and 3050ti gfx), one very old computer (i7 with 1065 gfx), my relatively old cab (i7 with 1060), and then a high end VR computer (i7 with a 3080 gfx). The VPW team spent a couple weeks of testing the table on all of their machines. There are nearly 2000 downloads of the table... and you are the one with the issue... it must be something on your end... your setup. If you want to play the table, I have links in the description to the minimum required software to have running (which is the recommended install files now for everything btw.) 1) VPX needs 10.8 RC3 or above to utilize the features I've implemented. I use the 64 bit version, as I don't see a need for anyone to be using the old 32 bit version. To install... you should be able to simply copy those files over to your existing directory. (If you need a tutorial on how to install 64bit VPX and all the associated files you need... Marty at gameclubcentral did a wonderful tutorial on how to do that while keeping 32 bit on your machine as well: www.youtube.com/watch?v=zc_6cr4Fo8k ) 2) The VPinMame needs to be upgraded to the latest version (even though many versions say 3.6... you NEED to have build 929 or above). THEN you need to install that correctly... which means copying the files over, and then running Setup64.exe and pressing "Install". Once installed, you will see that the build is Version 3.6.0 929.... You need at least build 929 or above. 3) THEN you need the latest b2s server installed to handle the GI strings. Again... copy the files to the correct location and then you need to register the app (the file you run is: B2SBackglassServerRegisterApp.exe). Press yes when it asks you to install. It will ask you questions twice about installing... just say yes to install. Please make sure you do all those installs correctly.3 likes

Couple of notes: 1) If you want DOF to work, you have to set your alias to: atlantisPinblob, atlantis Then update the script and set the cGameName to: "atlantisPinblob" Then change the directory for the PUP to: atlantisPinblob 2) If you want to run the Backglass B2S and the PUP on your FullDMD, you can not disable the DMD as it drives the pup events. The PUP should cover the DMD on the FullDMD screen and hide it. But, if it doesn't, you can shrink its size down REALLY small and not see it visually but is still there to drive the PUP. Also, update your PUP Pack, and set the target for screen #2 to 5,0,0,100,1003 likes

The previous version by vbobrusev, although great for what was possible at the time, was done when colorizations only supported 16-colors. This new one is in 64 colors and comes with new features such as backgrounds behind dynamic content and rotating colors which I've used for twinkling stars. I've added (mostly) subtle background gradients on all frames instead of pure black, but I will be releasing a "purist" version once I'm all done that will remove all the color backgrounds and return everything to the original black. Some people prefer this and it looks better on some LED panels. The next generation of Serum colorizations are currently in-progress (Serum v2) and will push the envelope even more with high-resolutions colorizations; 256x64 instead of 128x32 and unlimited colors per frame instead of a 64 color limit which is absolutely great for importing movie sequences! Check out some Serum v2 work-in-progress: - @PastorLUL's HD TRON - @Boroka's HD Airborne and HD Who Dunnit - @MrMan2k7's HD Big Hurt. At the moment, Serum v2 colorizations are not supported in DMDEXT, but Freezy will be adding support soon in the next release. Also, Serum colorizations are not currently playable on real pinball machines, but @mk47 is developing a solution for that. Everything is coming together and it will definitively be fun times ahead!3 likes

This exact thing happened with the proc version of cactus canyon and it turned out to be the core.vbs made after February 2024 just no longer supports p-roc properly. So, this makes me wonder if you have updated your scripts folder when you updated your vpx version? You NEED to update all folders when you unzip the vpx download. It will include the newest core.vbs. You also *need* the newest versions of vpinmame that support Capcom games properly. Not Pinmame. Use the -sc versions of Vpinmame.3 likes
