Windows 10 does not detect any of the 10 EVO Boards V1.4

Hello.

I have received 10 EVO Boards from Pcbway (V1.4).

I have tried to connect each of them with the computer but it is impossible: Windows detects absolutely nothing!!!

I have tried on 3 computers and with several Mini USB cables and there is no way.

USB 3.0 Hub between my PC and the pin2dmd... and nothing...

However, another old V1.4 board is detected by the computer at first.

I've read all the posts with this problem but I can't find the solution.

I need help please...🤥

Thank you very much for your reply Lucky.
I understand that I have to program the Boards in ST-Link mode.

Do I need an ST-Link interface, right?

Yes ! Either that shown on your picture or if you have a Nucleo or Discovery board at hand you can use the onboard ST-Link as well.

The EVO does NOT have a onboard ST-Link interface.

Try with all boards you have just in case you have another hardware problem with the board you are testing with, but

I think you received fake chips.

I would send those pictures to pcbway as a proof that the chips are fake !

However, using the STM32CubeProgrammer Software...

Good morning.
I have opened a dispute to Pcbway and, after sending the evidences (images and video) they have assumed that the installed STM32 Chips are Fake. (@lucky1 was right...)

They have offered me 2 solutions:

1.- Recover my money (with this option I would lose the 250€ that I have paid in taxes in my country).

2.- Go back the Boards to China so that they can put valid STM32 Chips.

My question is: can it be problematic or give future errors to remove a Chip from a Board and solder another again? I mean problems due to solder residue, bad connections...
Thanks you.

If you have the right equipment and skills that is no problem. I would take option one and find someone who can change the CPUs.

The hard job currently is to find good ones. Maybe @Tinkertilter can help

The latest Chips are programmed in a specific way?

No ! If you can´t program them in DFU they are most likely fake .
