Trouble Accessing That "other" Site

Hi All,

 

I've been a bit of a lurker of both VPU and VPF and admittedly do much of my downloading from the latter, mainly out of habit.

 

Last Friday i had cause to download quite a number of files from VPF (a tad under 1Gb actually) and, being a Gold member, didn't think this was an issue. It appears I was wrong though, as since then I have not been able to access that site AT ALL. Whatever page(s) I try to hit I get the following page:

Have I been banned?? If someone could check for me or advise whether I'm right then I'd be grateful. My username over there is FredBear.

Can you get to this page. That is the owner of the site and he got your Gold Member money and he will help you.

Thanks for the info guys. I have fired off an email to Noad at VirtuaPin so it will be interesting to see what he comes back with. I'm now thinking it may be something with my ISP........

If Noah sees your account being used from lots of different IP addresses he will assume you are sharing your account and cut you off.

Yeah, I'm guessing it's a communication with the server type error. That's not a banned screen.

 

Though it's possible there are limits on bandwidth per user.

All good - I emailed Noah as suggested by Bob and he got back to me very quickly, thanked me for pointing out the problem and fixed it right away. All in time for me to see that some wonderful person has posted up a new version of Rocky & Bullwinkle!
