astroboy
Prior to VPX 10.8, I believe I used to be able to launch a table simply by double-clicking on the table's VPX file in the Tables folder. However, since upgrading to 10.8, double-clicking the file only seems to launch VPX 10.8, but not the table. So then I have to select the table file again in VPX in order to launch it. It's a little bit of extra clicking. Any one experience the same thing, or am I doing something wrong, or did I forget to adjust a setting somewhere, or is it just one of those VPX 10.8 quirks? Any insights would be appreciated! (Yes, yes, I usually use PinUp to launch my tables when I've got everything settled, but when I've just downloaded tables and I'm trying test/sort everything out, I'll often navigate and launch from the Tables folder.) astroboy
Thanks, but I've got my prefs exactly as you have. I wonder what it could be.
PinballLizard
There's probably a more technical solution, but just change the name of your 10.8 exe to the one that does open.
Downloada
Hi Astroboy, You have to modify your registry for that! Open your registry editor, hit F3 and search for VPinball. You have to edit the VPinballX.exe (or X64 or GL64, the version you want to use) > shell > open > command : FROM TO
