Judas Priest Pinball (Original 2019)

 

This Judas Priest table is a theme of Skateball, built initially by JPSalas and Haunfreaks, and later modded by Siggi.  

 

I updated the lighting, added more tunes from the Judas Priest catalog, and updated the ball to be a piece of molten metal, just like Judas Priest's music.  I also added music control to the Magna Save buttons:

 

Music Control:
Right Magna = Next Track
Left Magna = Stop Music

 

This music begins as soon as the table loads and only stops when the ball drains.  It starts again on the next song after you launch the ball.  There are also configuration settings in the script if you want to turn off the attract music and only have in-game music, or you can mute the music altogether.  You will enjoy in-game callouts by Rob Halford and some musical adornments depending on what kind of target you hit.

 

I have included a modern Judas Priest backglass, but I also uploaded a whole collection of backglass options for you to choose from, one of which cycles through ALL the backglasses.

 

 

##IMPORTANT##

You must create an entry in your VPMAlias.txt file: judas,skatebll

 

Place the judas music directory in your Music folder.

Thanks for this table, but I'm a noob and I don't find where in the script I have to write the following entry : judas,skatebll

You wrote: VPMalias.txt, I think that "alias" is an exemple.

So what is the right command ?

You need to look inside of your VPinMAME folder, not the table script.

Inside of your VPinMAME folder you will find a text file named VPMAlias.txt.

Open that and add "judas,skatebll" to the top or bottom of list. (as seen in pic.)

Now press Save when you close the text file.

hello... so i have an issue where when you launch the table, the music is playing but after the first ball drain, the music stops. if i hit the magna save button it will start again but again will stop after the ball drains. I do not have a magna save button on my cabinet so i have to reach for the keyboard to do it. is this how its supposed to be?

Table looks great but I can't get it to start because it says it can't load the first song (You got Another thing Comin'). Do I need to rename the music folder?

Appreciate any help!

 

Nevermind: I didn't realize you just put the music files in the music folder. I thought each set of files needed their own folder like ROMs. Still trying to get the DMD working but I was able to play the table! Awesome!
