What exactly is VR Room for VPX and proper / intended use?

Hello everyone, likely a complete newbie question however I've tried searching on this numerous times and cannot find a clear answer.  What is the exact purpose of VR Room for VPX tables?  I see that many VPW tables have it in the script options, but not sure how exact to configure for my use.  I have a full cabinet setup with three screens (Full DMD).  Is there any value in me using VR Room (standard, minimal room, etc.) for basic gameplay or is this for an altogether different purpose?  Thanks in advance for those who enlighten me on this and my apologies if this has been answered before.

VR Room is virtual reality. You can play pinball with VR glasses like the Meta Quest. For many tables you can set the script to VR. But additionally you need the visual pinball vr software. So in your case you can ignore it in the configuration
