Addressable LED brightness / diffusing light

I have several addressable leds around the cabinet (siderails, led matrix in theback, and undercabinet). Right now the led strips are exposed. Does anyone have a suggestion for diffusing the light and/or cutting the brightness. I really light the effects but at times it's just too much, too direct of light.

I found this tape on ebay, not sure if it is a good idea or not.

I appreciate any suggestions. Also debating adding led rings around the speakers. Any thoughts on those?

Thanks!

I use this stuff: LED Channel With Diffuser

Routed the channel in to the cab and the frosted plastic is flush and looks great... the deeper the aliminum channel, the more diffuse the light is...  you can then deal witht he brightness by using that tape over the top if you want

I used Light Gray/Smoke Transparent Acrylic Plexiglass (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0731LZXVR?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details)  for my matrix and 1M Black LED Channel System with Smoky Black Cover Lens (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07KBYQ3JR?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1) for the side strips. The two are mostly for looks. If the light is just too much you will need to go in your cabinet.xml file to adjust the Intensity. Under the Toys tag will see a tag called LedStrip. In that you will find <Brightness>100</Brightness>. Just set that to 75 and see if it is good for you. You can adjust just the led you need to what you need.
