Joust 1983 Williams help.

Earlier this week, I was able to play the real Joust pinball table and I had a blast playing it.  Fortunately for me, I have the table before it was ultimately lost in vpinball being shut down.  However; I'm having trouble replicating the game I played.  If you have ever played or watch a video of the Joust table, there are flippers on each end of the table, and you can play 2 player, where you and friend are shooting balls back and forth at each other. 

However; if you want to play single player, you can.  This is how I played.  You control both sets of flippers, and it was a blast!  So I was excited to go home and play, but when I fire up my table, the only mode I can play is 1p vs cp.  Where the table just keeps shooting balls out at rapid fire, instead of one ball like a regular table.  Does anyone have this table and know how to change the gameplay?

You can hold down the left flipper and a menu will show. use right flipper to select your choice.

This is the selection you want to make. (As seen in pic.)

 

 

When you control both sets of flippers there is only one ball.

When you let computer play, there is one ball for each side. (Same as it would be if you were playing a real person.)

So on game start each side plunges 1 ball.

 

Now if you enter the disappearing target lane on either side with 40 or more lit, it starts a timed unlimited multi-ball session.

You also get this timed unlimited multi-ball session after your last ball.

This table was made a long time ago, so I am guessing it will run on VPX 10.6 and up.
