Balutito KISS you all. 😙

 

allknowing2012 having given its permission to modify its KISS table, I took it over point by point to try to improve it graphically.

Thanks to him for the work done upstream.

 

To make your life easier, I'm making the music and the ultraDMD available, but everything comes from @allknowing2012 ,KISS to him

if you already have this table, no need to load the KISS install .zip which contains the music and the ultraDMD

use left button to change city, right button to change music

 

• Playfield, apron, inserts, all graphics have been taken over.
• The work is not perfect because the images were originally low resolution.
• I used the technique indicated by @pin666 for the playfield and the apron thanks to him.

Great looking table.  My only issue is that the SSF mixing seems a bit off.  Really loud bass thuds (may be typical from original) overpower other sounds.  I'm trying to find sound balance.  Also, the intro messages are seemingly louder than other sounds from the backglass.

but I have a little crash when I launch the table

(I have vpx 10.8 and Vpin 3.6)

I have copied the music in the music folder

I have copied kiss ultradmd in tables folder

I have copied "KISS (Stern 2015).directb2s" in the table folder

I have copied the vbs files in my script folder...

And it crash ....please see the screen copy

Make sure that the music files are in the music directory itself and not in a sub-directory in the music directory.

 

What I ended up doing was I edited the KissMusic script and added Kiss\ in front of each song...

Track(1) =  "Kiss\bgout_song-0x1E.mp3"  
Track(2) =  "Kiss\bgout_song-0x20.mp3"  
Track(3) =  "Kiss\bgout_song-0x1A.mp3"  
Track(4) =  "Kiss\bgout_song-0x22.mp3"  
Track(5) =  "Kiss\bgout_song-0x24.mp3"  
Track(6) =  "Kiss\bgout_song-0x28.mp3"  
Track(7) =  "Kiss\bgout_song-0x2A.mp3"  
Track(8) =  "Kiss\bgout_song-0x2D.mp3"   

Track(9) =  "Kiss\bgout_song-0x1C.mp3"  
Track(10)=  "Kiss\bgout_song-0x26.mp3" 

 

then I put the mp3s into a Kiss directory... so it looked like this

 

Music\Kiss\bgxxxxxx.mp3

Hi, Im a noob. Im playing on a single monitor. How do you get the dmd with score to show on a single screen pc? Im using 10.8

 

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello to all Im new to all this computer stuff and have been trying to get this to work.can anybody post a pic or some sort of rookie instructions on how to add files to script so i can wake up  the house with KISS.I know how to place ultra dmd and music .but i have no clue what to do with the script files that came in the zip.

ok i figured out where to put script files .didnt know there was a actual script folder .that was to easy.Now im dealing with bass music sound library cannot load,I will keep digging KISS ARMY

I cant figure out how to edit kiss music script.can you show me where i do this,for all i get is bass music sound library cannot load\vpinball\visualpinball\music\bgout_song-0x1A.mp3error cant open ,been trying for 3 days now with no success

I'm actually not sure why you're getting the error you're getting.

 

Can you screenshot where your Kiss Music files are located?

thank you  I just now discovered how to read messages. This computer stuff has been very slow going .and yes i got kiss working .When I started visual pinball just a few month ago progress was rough .But now I have a few tables up and working thanks
