Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (MOD) nFozzy, Fleep Sounds, LUT

Hello there,

a lot of you requested me for this table, so here you go!

Here i want to present to you an upgraded version of Cyberpez "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" table.

I have implemented the nFozzy Physics, Fleep Sounds, and a LUT selector (Hold LMagna and scroll through the LUTs with the RMagna).

There is now a spinning pizza sound included, some light adjustments and also some rubber cleanups and small changes.

To fit the screen i adjusted the POV and stretched the y-scale a little.

I  want to thank @Cyberpez for his table, @Retro27 for his graphic overhaul, VPW Team for their awesome example table and all other that are involved in there to deliver a much better VPX experience !

Cheers and have fun  :)

I can't for the life of me get the dmd/scoring to work for this game. Launching standalone vpx 10.7 .8 whatever, doesn't matter.  No backglass, with backglass, doesn't matter. I can see a black box in the dmd place and I can size it, save it, etc... but its just a black box.  I have deleted every rom and loaded them all pertaining to TMNT. Deleted the game and reloaded it as well. Looked in the script for anything and even commented out a line that someone on the VR version said would fix it.  No change.  HELP!

This is one of the tables with the older 128x16 DMD. I don't know what you are running, but I'd start troubleshooting by using the regular VPM renderer. No altcolor and no dmdext and go from there.

I haven't played a VPX version in a long time. Don't know about now, but I used to have this positioned in the proper place in the DB2S backglass rather than on the third screen as I would do for most other tables, those with 128x32 DMD.

Desktop or cab? Make sure you're using the latests dmddevice.dll's from lucky1 or freezy as older versions were crashing tmnt_104. Hit F1 check use external dmd. It's working/looking great for me

You've most likely nailed the issue for my cabinet. It works on my laptops just fine. F1 did nothing but I assume you're on to something with the other stuff.

Yours looks good! Thanks for the reply.

ok. still persists. i have latest everything installed. this is a duplicate post on other threads so it will be redundant in verbiage.

I reinstalled the game a couple days ago to see if I can figure it out. had actually deleted it from my cab couple months ago out of frustration. I didn't understand a word of what Carny suggested, but understood Cliffys response. lol

....

been beating me for months. TMNT (data east nfozzy ver) won't show the dmd. it's just a black box. I can move it size it etc but it will not show score. went ahead and created and forced a dmd to show to see if the rom is working and it appears to be. of course I can't move that off the playfield. but at least I know there is scoring. see pics. any knowledge is appreciated. driving me bonkers.

run FlexDMDUI.exe in your vpinmame folder. What does it show?

hi.

thanks for replying, Cliffy.

this is the only game that does this in my entire library.

I've searched my entire drive for anything related to tmnt and there's no stray files anywhere.

Looks good. Now, did you right click on the backglass and check your dmd settings? Since you're using external dmd you should have DMD hidden and B2S DMD visible

One thing concerns me. When you say you have no F1 menu either your tmnt_104 rom is incomplete or you don't have a good parent rom, tmnt. I would run setup.exe in vpinmame and check both roms that they're ok.

I do have the f1 menu. that was a few months ago and I must've been screwing something up back the. f1 works fine. 😆

Must be in the dmddevice.ini then. Are you launching direct or with a frontend? Frontends can introduce poopy problems too

Hey- you don't have any serum dlls in the vpinmame folder do ya?

I will check all this and report back. Thank you for suggestions. All appreciated.

Popper front end or standalone vpx, doesn't matter. I do troubleshoot from vpx standalone though.

I'm wondering if something is hanging out in windows registry edit causing this?

Also,  can I just delete my root vpinballx.ini ? will it regenerate itself? I was thinking of doing that to see what happens.

I have a cloned backup drive. maybe I'll try it.
