Teacher_s Pet (Williams 1965) - Loserman 76 update

Here is a patch for Teacher's Pet (Williams 1965), a table by Loserman76 and PBecker.

 

Again we made a patch, so we keep the original tables !

What do you have with the patch ?

- DOF with epileptik option

- better SSF

- Quick visual upgrade

- Quick change with ball shadows and ball rolling sound (more bass, easier to feel the ball with SSF).
It's clearly a pincab patch, to have a little enhanced version of Loserman76 tables.

 

Again here the big work is the script and the DOF, i'm not a master of rendering.

Bord teach me how to apply some shadows effects with blender (while playing and while tilting) and to update a little bit the lights, that's it !

 

You need the original file (here on the right), the VPU patch system and my file.

My question. The dofconfig is changed, so the original tables really isn't working as expected, unless we download this patch and apply it ? I simply haven't tried this yes, so I won't know. When I play alone, in 99% of the cases I turn my kit into night mode, disabling the mechanical(s).

Hello, sorry, i'm just discovering your message.

 

I don't understand, because actually i'm supposed to DOF table without DOF.

We opened the config-tool for this table for example. So there were no config-tool for a cgamename = TeachersPet_1965

 

I don't understand what's going on. How is it possible you had a DOF before this opening in the config-tool ?

You can check in the config-tool, there is no history for this table. 😕

 

We crossed the problem  @ARMYAVIATION posted the first time. At that time I asked how it was possible we changed the DOF, because it was supposed to be a complete new one. But nobody react to my question, because we had a lot to talk about... 😁

I need to understand the problem, if not we're going to create lot's of mess.
@arngrim can you help here ?

Yeah I think the issue is that when there is no dof we really don’t pay attention as much as when the dof is made and we don’t have the right table that the dof was made with.  It’s really acts wierd with the old version and is noticeable.  I guess if you put in the work to make the tables the least I can do is do the work to download them.  Thanks
