The PIN2DMD EVO if powered from the machine uses the 12V POWER circuit while the "Magic Edition" of the DMDMK66 uses 12V DIGITAL circuit + 5V DIGITAL circuit of the WPC machine which is totally different.

Hello again.

@lucky1 was right; You have to use an external power supply so that the Display does not remain "frozen".

Using this external power supply; WITHOUT MICROSD the Display works correctly.

Using external power supply WITH MICROSD the Display shows a black screen after the Test.

You could also try to connect 12V of the DMDMK66 to 12V POWER circuit of J117 on WPC PDB.

The second issue is colorization related. I have to check.

I checked different colorizations, and all were working fine. I guess your colorization files are defective.

Sorry, but colorizacion files are right. Same files are working perfectly in a Pin2dmd EVO.

It's possible that problem was in *.dat file?

Good afternoon.
@lucky1 I need your help.
I would like to convert this DMD MK66 Display to the Pin2dmd system but there is no way to locate the SWCLK , SWDIO and RESET pins to program the display.
Please, could you help me...?
Thank you very much.

This is a 10pin Tag Connect connector.

Pinout should be if it is not modified

Maybe you can trace the connector pins to the pins of the MK66 to make sure which pins are connected.Bildschirmfoto2025-03-12um07_08_21.thumb.png.61a2138141b315f3b5e7987316ee9120.png

Are you sure it is PTA4 and not PTA3 ?

From what you have I would bet on this layout.

SWCLK should go to PTA0
