Content Provider lucky1 Posted December 13, 2022 Content Provider Posted December 13, 2022 The PIN2DMD EVO if powered from the machine uses the 12V POWER circuit while the "Magic Edition" of the DMDMK66 uses 12V DIGITAL circuit + 5V DIGITAL circuit of the WPC machine which is totally different.
Chesco Posted December 13, 2022 Author Posted December 13, 2022 (edited) Hello again. @lucky1 was right; You have to use an external power supply so that the Display does not remain "frozen". Using this external power supply; WITHOUT MICROSD the Display works correctly. Using external power supply WITH MICROSD the Display shows a black screen after the Test. https://es.files.fm/u/sezdkhezt Edited December 13, 2022 by Chesco
Content Provider lucky1 Posted December 13, 2022 Content Provider Posted December 13, 2022 You could also try to connect 12V of the DMDMK66 to 12V POWER circuit of J117 on WPC PDB. The second issue is colorization related. I have to check.

Content Provider lucky1 Posted December 13, 2022 Content Provider Posted December 13, 2022 I checked different colorizations, and all were working fine. I guess your colorization files are defective.

Sorry, but colorizacion files are right. Same files are working perfectly in a Pin2dmd EVO. https://es.files.fm/u/66mtdgckm It's possible that problem was in *.dat file?

Content Provider lucky1 Posted March 11, 2025 Content Provider Posted March 11, 2025 (edited) This is a 10pin Tag Connect connector. Pinout should be if it is not modified Edited March 11, 2025 by lucky1
Content Provider lucky1 Posted March 11, 2025 Content Provider Posted March 11, 2025 You can find the cable on aliexpress e.g. https://de.aliexpress.com/item/4000926386894.html
Content Provider lucky1 Posted March 12, 2025 Content Provider Posted March 12, 2025 Maybe you can trace the connector pins to the pins of the MK66 to make sure which pins are connected.

Content Provider lucky1 Posted March 14, 2025 Content Provider Posted March 14, 2025 (edited) Are you sure it is PTA4 and not PTA3 ? From what you have I would bet on this layout. SWCLK should go to PTA0 Edited March 14, 2025 by lucky1
Chesco Posted March 14, 2025 Author Posted March 14, 2025 Sincerely, @lucky1... You're INCREDIBLE 👏👏👏 Another display back to the life. Thanks you very much.
