Content Provider oooPLAYER1ooo Posted March 3, 2013 Content Provider Posted March 3, 2013 While "al's garage band goes on a world tour" is off for testing i had some extended vp time this weekendTable is a wpc table and i already have added the 8 step gi string, scripted all pf lightsIts a very complex table to build and still a long way off
Content Provider bent98 Posted March 3, 2013 Content Provider Posted March 3, 2013 Shaping up nicely Phil!
tttttwii Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 Cool Stuff! I looked this table up in IPDB and never heard of it before. The head of Bluto (aka "Brutus" in Germany) will be damanding...
Content Provider bodydump Posted March 3, 2013 Content Provider Posted March 3, 2013 A lot of people bash this game and call it one of the worst. I don't care, I'm really looking forward to it. Looks great already. I have a few plastic pics if you need them.
Content Provider oooPLAYER1ooo Posted March 3, 2013 Author Content Provider Posted March 3, 2013 Yes please bodydump
Content Provider bent98 Posted March 3, 2013 Content Provider Posted March 3, 2013 I like your sig Phil
slydog43 Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 Looking nice, never played it before, cant wait, Thanks
karl Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 And another stunner on the way. Really impressive work so far. Never tried this before in real life. Exiting times for the community ahead. Thank you Sir for all your splendid work
Content Provider bent98 Posted March 6, 2013 Content Provider Posted March 6, 2013 Looks amazing! Shouldn't pluto's head be rotated a little more forward?
Content Provider DeeGor Posted March 6, 2013 Content Provider Posted March 6, 2013 That animation looks awesome P1. I actually played this one last night and it was fun.
Content Provider bodydump Posted March 6, 2013 Content Provider Posted March 6, 2013 tumbler animation looks amazing.
Loafmeister Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 It looked like a vp pin, then saw the wheel spinning, then did a double look and figured It must be the real pin, but nope, just very well done. Is this using a primitive? It is so smooth!
Content Provider oooPLAYER1ooo Posted March 7, 2013 Author Content Provider Posted March 7, 2013 nope i actually made the animation in flash and just exported it as png images, the whole animation uses 1 ramp and 35 frames. here is the swf file i made wheel keyframes.zip
Shadowsclassic Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 Looking very good Player1, like Loafmeister said, it's hard to tell your table from the real deal. Looks like this will be an awesome recreation! Oh BTW, just the firefighter in me but ahh change your smoke detector batteries
Content Provider oooPLAYER1ooo Posted March 7, 2013 Author Content Provider Posted March 7, 2013 lol, we been already over it its not batteries, they are hard wired. they just want me to push the button for a test every few months, so they beap like that. i need to get my ladder out to do it house has like 10 detectors and they always want to be tested at different months, so i was constantly pushing these buttons.
Content Provider oooPLAYER1ooo Posted March 7, 2013 Author Content Provider Posted March 7, 2013 Looks amazing! Shouldn't pluto's head be rotated a little more forward? Its only a 5 min job added on yet, its final angle will be dictated by the rest of the upper pf and how it looks once its built. i am already running into problems of things being hidden. this table is def not cab friendly built 100% the way it is in real life. thats why i got rid of the stupid solid bright blue ramp on left and went for a semi transparent blue plastic one.
Content Provider bent98 Posted March 7, 2013 Content Provider Posted March 7, 2013 Yea it looks like a pain in the ass. Hats off to you though. I really cant wait to try this. It looks like a real bitch to build but I am happy your the guy doing it!
PinballBuzz Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 Nice one Phil, Never played this table before so looking forward to giving it a go on the cab. Your Bluto and the wheel animation looks real good - this one could raise the bar in terms of recreations. Cheers Buzz
Loafmeister Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 lol, we been already over it its not batteries, they are hard wired. they just want me to push the button for a test every few months, so they beap like that. i need to get my ladder out to do it house has like 10 detectors and they always want to be tested at different months, so i was constantly pushing these buttons. Don't laugh, looking at your video yesterday made me do a double look on my smoke alarms... Then I remembered "that''s right, it's not my alarm, its lazy Phil's alarm!"
Content Provider oooPLAYER1ooo Posted March 10, 2013 Author Content Provider Posted March 10, 2013 Im thinking off adding random smoke alarm low battery beeps to my tables. I can make the world a safer place cause people will play my tables and double check there alarms. Maybe i can script the sounds to sound every few months. Cool Another use for vp. Smoke detector battery replacement warning system.
Content Provider bent98 Posted March 10, 2013 Content Provider Posted March 10, 2013 Damn Phil, you stole my idea.
Shadowsclassic Posted March 15, 2013 Posted March 15, 2013 Oh great, I can see it now. Every smoke detector in the house will be hanging open with the battery out and they will still be running around the house going "Where in the hell is that stinking alarm!"
