2nd, the 16pin ribbon goes from 1 HUB75 port (#1 or #2 is up to you).

The other end to RIGHT dmd INput.

Then the 2nd ribbon goes from the RIGHT dmd OUT to the LEFT DMD IN!

The power Y cable for the dmd goes to each dmd.

Power source for the dmd must be a 5V min. 5A power supply.

NOT power from USB!

3rd, power for the Shield and STm comes over the microUSB cable with the power source jumper in 1-2 closed (was default on delivery).

Thats all for the Hardware.

I will upload some new pictures from my DMD backside, to show how the cables are connected.

UncleSash - Thanks for the detailed information! Truly EXCELLENT! I forgot that I needed the 5v 5AMP power supply. I guess I'll have to get one before I can fully test. In the mean time, I will update the firmware and drivers for the DMD. Thanks again for such an excellent product and your support!

GOT IT WORKING! I used a molex connector from my computer power supply to power the DMD. This is the same computer that I'm going to use to power my virtual pinball cabinet. So using the molex is a great way to keep things nice and clean in the cabinet. Looks great. Thanks so much to all involved and the support. Now to figure out how to make the DMD work with tables. I've got things working with b2s but didn't have a DMD. So, that's my next thing to do. Thanks again for the help everyone.

Hello together.

Here is a small Update for Round #4:

We are working on a rev 2.0 Shield (EU & US)!

Right now it looks really good.

But we need a little bit more time to get the final release.

We probably order in 1-2 weeks the first boards from the PCB manufacturer.

I hope that is OK for you?!

More Updates are coming in the next Days.

Best regards

Sascha

Update for rev 2.0 Shields:

We have to many Problems with the new Design and it don´t help to fix anything.

Update for Round #4:

There are 14 Shields on the PreOrder, at this time.

With this Number, I think is it Time to Order rev 1.3 Boards for Round 4.

The batch 4 is going to have 30 pcs!

That there is a small reserve for other Pin2DMD Fans to get a Shield very fast.

For User with Package "D, E or F":

I will send you an message with the 20.00 USD PreCharge for the STm Controller in the next Days (after I placed the PCB order).

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2016!

Sascha

Hello folks,
I found a Shop with 1 GB micro SD Cards.
This Cards working without any problems.

At the moment, I have 6 pcs 1GB micro SD Cards in my Hands.
But they are expensive.
The price for one Card is: 2.50 USD (+ Shipping)

Or 12.00 USD when someone takes all 6 (+ Shipping).

When anybody else is interested in the Shop where I bought them, just PM me and I will send you the link.
But it is still NOT guarantee that they will work every time.
I ordered 3 times these kinds of SD Cards and all of them worked fine.

regards
Sascha

Hello Uncle Sash,

I would like to order packet D with the mounting legs. Or if this is not possible i would take the Complete one F. It will be used for a Virtual Pin, so i do not need a card reader right?

Please send me the instructions for paying.

Thank you!

Can i please have 2 x 'Package F' please?

I have quite a few real pinball machines (newer sterns and 90's bally williams), and have a friend who is far more technical than myself. With his knowledge and my machines we can test a few different options and he will have one for his machine, and one for me to swap around and trial
