Marcdaddy Posted January 28, 2015 Posted January 28, 2015 Guys I know it could be way overkill but im thinking of doing a complete overhaul of the PC in my cabinet. I have 2 older EVGA GTX 770s laying around and I also have a 750TI 1 gig I just got for free for doing a complete rebuild on my friends PC today. So can I use a 1 card for playfield, 1 for backglass and one for dmd, I unserstand its overkill but they are just sitting around. Ill be using a 2600K, 16 gigs of ram, Asus Maximus Extreme mobo and Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit.
randr Posted January 28, 2015 Posted January 28, 2015 Actually you will get better results with less cards. I run one video card. 3 is overkill and unneeded
Marcdaddy Posted January 29, 2015 Author Posted January 29, 2015 If that's the case I can sell all 3 cards and put a GTX 970 in there.
randr Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 You probably could and get better performance with vp. 2gb 770 both screens @ 1920x1080
Content Provider Itchigo Posted January 29, 2015 Content Provider Posted January 29, 2015 Just out of curiosity, what's the 750ti or 770going for? I have a GTX280 for 2 screens with no issues. (Not that I have money for this). Edit: Nevermind, just looked at E bay...
Peabo Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 I have a spare EVGA 750ti 1gb card if anyone's interested. They've been selling for $60ish on ebay. Send me a PM and I'll cut you deal
Marcdaddy Posted February 3, 2015 Author Posted February 3, 2015 Itchigo ill call you if I sell them, This weekend I think I might just put both 770s in and try them out.
