Hey all, mostly been over at the other site, but this one seems cooler!

I built a medium size build a few years ago and decided it was finally time for a full size widebody build!

Here's what the medium build looked like

Medium Size Build

It was a 27" playfield with a 19" backglass.

So for my new build I've used the widebody plans and am planning a 46" playfield, 32" backglass and originally I was going to do a real DMD but decided to save some money and went with a 15.6" LED LCD.

Let's add some paint and make it look a little nicer. Eventually I'll have it wrapped in some custom graphics, but for now I like the look of the paint.

Time to move it inside out of the garage and in it's final resting spot in my game room. Also, add PC and other misc stuff! Need to take a few more updated pics as I've got quite the bit of wiring going on in here now.

So, that's where I'm at right now. Hopefully I'll be picking up the 32" and 46" Tvs soon, black friday deals and all. Order my new LEDWiz and get the other parts that I need to order to get this finished up.

Welp got my $79 32" from amazon last night! So that's one monitor down, will be here tuesday then to figure out how I'm going to mount it!

Got my backglass tv mounted. This was def a case of, measure before you buy/build. The tv was way to big for the box I had built so I had to widen it by 3/4" on each side for the tv, even decased to fit. It wasn't that bad to do though and it's in there now. Will have to widen my dmd panel as well, then get some more paint and clean it up and it'll be done.

Ok I got bored and finished the DMD too

Dmd

I'll grab paint tomorrow and clean it up, but I think it's gonna turn out great.

95% with the backbox!

Everything is painted, dmd panel mounted, tv mounted, speakers all done. Just need to fill the gap between dmd and panel and I can mark the backglass box done!

Right click on those backglasses and hide speaker panel! ;)

Whaaaaattttt?! I did not know you could do that! I will try that tonight! Thanks man!

Lots of work finally getting done!

Picked up a 46" Samsung LED TV from craigslist for $300 and got it mounted in the cab!

Finally got my 3rd monitor(dmd) working so now everything is in place and the cab is playable!

And a short video

Normally I don't like portrait videos, but it's really the only good way to capture the whole cabinet, make sure to watch in HD :)

My LED bar from Zeb has been ordered and should be here next week as well as another LED Wiz so I can get that all wired up and fill up the gap behind the monitor. Also need to do something with the gap between the DMD and the TV up top but that should be an easy fix. Now comes the fun of configuring all the tables :)

So another update on my cabinet. I'm probably 95% or so done with it. Very little left to do really.

First up a few pics

I'm using PinballX as my front end, this is what it looks like in attract mode.

Only 2 24v contactors installed so far for the flippers, still need to order another 6 for the remaining force feedback. I have a sidewinder freestyle pro gamepad coming tomorrow to add nudge support.

70 or so tables installed, updating as many as I can to the new physmod5 versions.

Basically what I have left to add are the remaining contactors, glass for the playfield and some sort of side art. I'm extremely happy with how it's turned out, I've already had 3 people ask how much to build them one, one of whom was my dad who really couldn't believe what he was playing, he loves pinball(I'm going to build him one for his birthday which is in april!) and everyone who has come over to play it loves it.

looks like you need some mosfets on your lights to stop the blue hue from being constantly on as well.

looks great so far!  Great work.   I agree with Arngrim,   get 8 contactors.

I'm not sure what this means? all my leds are connected to a resistor then to the LEDWiz. Am I missing something else?
