Cliffy Posted May 13 Posted May 13 (edited) Our very good friend and prolific contributor, Brian Ryan aka @hauntfreaks New Jersey house burned to the ground last Sunday May 10th. He and wife Cindy lost everything including their 3 cats. All they have left is the clothes on their backs and their cars. Haunt wanted me to tell everyone he loves the community but obviously will have to drop out for some time. All of his artwork, all the computers and drives- gone. Please keep them in thoughts, prayers and mind. I have no idea yet if a go fund me has been setup for them but any details I found it (or if anyone else does) I'll post back here We love you Haunt! Please accept my heartfelt thank you for your kind words. Please know we know no one knows what to say, but holding us in your hearts and minds is enough. We are crushed in a million different ways, but have an amazing network that while I thought loves us, have confirmed it in profound ways. We are well insured, I hope that will help. My job loves me, and they have been so good to me through this. I don't know how long it will take to mentally bounce back, if ever fully. My husband is an amazing man, who has helped me in all of my success with his unwavering support that I can do anything. I wish he could give himself the same grace. Know that we are stable, safe, have food and are awaiting next steps from insurance. I don't know you all, but it seems so many of you see him as I do, so we are kindred spirits. And again, thank you for your kindness and well wishes.

I've never communicated more than to thank the fellow for his tremendous creative efforts, yet somehow this hits as hard as if it happened to my next-door neighbor. Please know that I genuinely care, and I hope for a swift recovery.
