Rysr Posted April 20 Posted April 20 I haven't played FP in many years, I don't know what could be causing this? any ideas?
0 GeorgeH Posted April 22 Posted April 22 Did you add the 1K custom ball? If it is not added, the ball may be floaty.
0 digitalarts Posted April 22 Posted April 22 (edited) If the Ball is Not Rolling straight, but a little bit "curvy", your Joystick or another analog axis Controllers could mess this. Then, try to unplug these controllers Edited April 22 by digitalarts
0 Content Provider TerryRed Posted April 22 Content Provider Posted April 22 MOTU CE should not be floaty and should play similar to VPX tables. This should be the case with PinEvent tables and most other FP tables that were updated to FizX physics. For other FP tables, they will still be using old FP physics, so they will feel / play wonky / floaty in comparison to FP tables with FizX. Installing the AIO is one thing. Be sure you followed the Install Guide and are running FP-BAM only as directed (settings MUST be the same as shown, and do not make any changes except for the settings circled in green, etc). It matters as changing the wrong settings can have an effect on how some tables run. It's also very important that when you exit a table for any reason, you completely close FP before loading another table or restarting the same table.
0 Rysr Posted April 22 Author Posted April 22 Hi Terry, thanks for the in-depth response. I was doing an upgrade, but I still had to run the BAM settings install bat first to fix the issue. I was upgrading a very old FP version. MOTU CE plays as fast as VPX now, I'm really enjoying the table.
