For the last year and some change I've been repairing pins for Francis who tomorrow is officially opening up his new venture "The Pinball Capital" in Stone Park Illinois (soft open last week).  The facility houses around 140 pins ranging from EM's to the latest Stern's.  The details about the facility can be found here https://pinballcapital.com/ as well as upcoming events here https://www.facebook.com/p/The-Pinball-Capital-61582513177208/.  If you are ever in the Chicago area you'll want to check this place out.

Today is the 50th anniversary of Roger Sharp's shot that helped make pinball legal in New York.   Roger stopped by this morning to shoot segments for WGN and I got the opportunity to talk pinball with him for about 40 minutes.  What a nice guy.  If you don't know much about him be sure to check out the movie "Pinball the Man Who Saved the Game" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pinball:_The_Man_Who_Saved_the_Game

Here's a photo of me with him from today.

BTW the Stampede behind us had the playfield graphics redone by our own @Bord.  Seeing that is worth the trip alone :)
