Morbeious Posted September 8, 2025 Posted September 8, 2025 I’ve had my VP project up and running for a few years, but now I’m refining my deployment to auto-setup tables for my cab. The issue is that when I try to use .INI files for screen configurations, the settings seem to be ignored. Whenever I load a new table, all the screens are detected, but the playfield and backglass default to the main screen, and the DMD shows up on the backglass. This mostly happens with new downloads. I’ve noticed that if my screens aren’t numbered consistently in Windows, that may be causing the problem. Right now, Windows identifies them as: 2 = Main 3 = Backglass 1 = DMD But when I download new tables, they often load as: 1 = Main 2 = Backglass 3 = DMD Of course, I can manually move them around (which I’ve done in the past), but what I’d really like is for each table to automatically load with the correct configuration by pulling from its own .INI file. So my questions are: Can this actually be done in VPX 10.x? Or are the .INI file settings currently broken in this version? Thanks and appreciated any thoughts or help..
Morbeious Posted September 8, 2025 Author Posted September 8, 2025 Nevermind—problem solved. The table was loading a different version of PinX. When I load PVX first and then select the table, it recognizes the .INI file correctly.
