Content Provider RobbyKingPin Posted July 21, 2025 Content Provider Posted July 21, 2025 View File World Poker Tour (Stern 2006) The hottest game in town! Time for a true players game! A game that I found in a unfinished and broken state. So I took the challenge to do an extensive rebuild to not only meet modern standards, but also a game that pushed my skillset to the limits and beyond. I even challenged myself to learn more about baking in Blender with great succes. This is not a toolkitted table but the entire VR Mega room looks absolutely stunning! This table was the toughest one I have worked on so far, almost taking 2 months to complete and with major issues during a long period of testing. I do must apoligize to the entire VPW team for an exhausting adventure I put on them as well as me. I do feel ready to step up to a higher level after reaching a ceiling. There still is a sky beyond that ceiling to explore. And even the sky is not the limit. This table requires VP 10.8 and VPinMame 3.6. Warning, to avoid issues with the insert lights being frozen please update to the latest b2s server version 2.1.3 or higher when available. Even when you don't use it for a backglass, just do it! https://github.com/vpinball/pinmame/issues/350 This final set of updates includes a lot of new options. I included an extra option for people suffering from issues with anaglyph 3d and headtracking. A lot of options deal with reflections, like a new option to have the backglass and topper reflect on the playfield wich will work in all formats. When I have PWM plus refractions plus reflections enabled on the table people in VR will see black holes/blobs inside the lights. So I added an extra ini file for VR to deal with all of this straight out of the box. Just add it in and you are good to go! These options will help taking those away but feel free to try them out when you like. I just disabled them inside that ini file for VR. Support for the Legends Cabinets. You can use the option to enable the Legends Cabinet setting to use the bigger sideblade option and a second ini file has been added to make it fit. This ini file is only needed if you want to use this option. I do ask in return to not see this being patched even when I release it as free to mod. Feel free to reach out to me instead if you want extra art added (real art only available on a real table). If somebody would ignore this I would be crushed... When people release patches mere days after the original got released I feel these people need to reflect on what they are doing because it's not the right way! In all fairness I feel nobody should touch somebody's work for at least a month after it's initial release. When people add a simple thing and also don't reach out and just make these patches people will feel excluded and dismissed for what they added to the table. Also when it's not working on other platforms then a cabinet it's a broken patch to begin with. This table is showing how all can be merged into one and I am willing to help others to show the right way! Nobody should be excluded, this ain't VP9 anymore after all. possibly_a_cylon Posted July 22, 2025 Posted July 22, 2025 Still getting the frozen inserts on this table. I have verified the verison of vpx, vpinmame, and b2s just to make sure that I am running the required versions. Tried 64 and 32 Open GL and regular. I tried with and without the new serum release. I redownloaded hauntfreaks' fulldmd background but tried it without it name assigned and still no dice. I can see the inserts changing for about 1 second at the start of the attract mode and then will freeze with the WPT Championship and Deal Again inserts lit up. Have played through a couple of games, restarted on ball 2 and 3, and still no dice. If you or anyone else have any ideas or things that you wish me to try please let me know. I'm fairly tech savvy so I'm willing to guinea pig to help myself and others out. Thanks again

Ryangel Posted August 7, 2025 Posted August 7, 2025 Table looks great but for some reason I don't get any force feedback from the flipper contactors, does anyone know how to fix that? Otherwise all other features and force feedback seem to be working as intended.
Content Provider RobbyKingPin Posted August 14, 2025 Author Content Provider Posted August 14, 2025 I sometimes wonder why we even have a forum part. I don't receieve reports of anybody ever posting on this. That makes this automated part totally useless if you ask my honest opinion
