Content Provider Itchigo Posted March 29, 2014 Content Provider Posted March 29, 2014 Any em pics would be appreciated. (I have resources for Slick Chick already).
Administrators Dazz Posted March 29, 2014 Author Administrators Posted March 29, 2014 Classic Stern row.
Administrators Dazz Posted March 29, 2014 Author Administrators Posted March 29, 2014 Nicest Star Gazer I've ever seen.
Content Provider gtxjoe Posted March 29, 2014 Content Provider Posted March 29, 2014 Very cool. Have a great weekend
ArkMalmeida Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Great pictures. Great to see some of the lesser known/seen machines in action.
DStruct Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 This was my first TPF, and it certainly won't be my last. Had a really awesome time and managed to throw my initials up on a few games. We're on the road home, now. It'll be just under 4 hours 'till we make it back to Lufkin. Absolutely worth the trip.
NicToria Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Great chatting with you Dazz.. Now for getting the "secret" handshake thing figured out. LOL> Nick.
Content Provider gtxjoe Posted April 3, 2014 Content Provider Posted April 3, 2014 Anyone get a change to play Mustang?
Loafmeister Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Hey Dazz, So what are your overall thoughts on the show? Any favorites? Disappointments? How was predator to you? Anything innovative?
DStruct Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Personally, I was surprised by how much I enjoyed Mustang. It's certainly nothing groundbreaking and the code is still being fleshed out, but it was fast and enjoyable. It felt like a throwback to a Williams game like High Speed, but with a few modern Stern twists. I had a blast on the wedgehead row. Geez! Predator, for me, had it's good points and bad. It felt nice and tight, and there were some interesting shots. I keep coming back to the art as being the weak link in the Predator chain, though. The cab looks good, but the playfield and plastic art, to me, seems really amateurish. I'm also not totally sold on the whole black light thing. Just seems a bit tacked on. The dmd work on it was the star of the show.
Administrators Dazz Posted April 4, 2014 Author Administrators Posted April 4, 2014 I actually enjoyed Mustang as well. Seems like it's a fairly sold machine. I took around 100 pics if anyone is interested in them...
PinballPais Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Sounds like it was a good time. I'm looking forward to PAGG out here in Cali. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
DStruct Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Loafer, didn't you end up getting a Hulk LE? How's that pin for you? I've only been lucky enough to play it once.
Loafmeister Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Funny you mention that. Yeah I did, LOVE it, but I think I will love the trade I am doing this Sunday: Star Trek pro with shaker plus cash coming my way includes delivery. I think we will both be happy but I know I will eventually miss it to the point it will return in my collection... Once I pay off some shit I just think Star Trek ends up being a better game but that should not read as avengers being a poor game.
