Problem with custom color files

Good day everyone!
First of all excuse me if this is not the correct place to post this, I'm pretty new to this forums and usually don's ask questions.

 

I've recently purchased a Pin2DMD unit for virtual pinball, already activated by the vendor. I've built an enclosure for it and I'm playing some VP tables with it as my DMD. Issue is, once I've created my color files with Pin2DMD editor, following the tutorials step by step, I can't seem to load a ROM. The DMD will flash in the boot screen, switching to a new color palet, but pinmame won't even start. Sudden crash and pinmame and VP suddendly closing. Sometimes in another ROM I get to play, but the colors are not right. I've downloaded some color files online just to try if it was the DMD or a compatibility issue with my files. Turns out downloaded files work pretty fine.

 

Is there something I'm messing up?

again, sorry if this is not the right place to ask but I can't find nothing about this issue anywhere online.

 

EDIT: Nevermind, I figured it out. Dumb of me...
In case somebody finds this with the same issue and trying to find a solution. In the pin2dmd editor configuration, put 16 colors instead of 64 that were the default I had.
