Hello everyone, today we are playing bowling. On VPU you will find 2 versions, a Backglass and table version and a PUP PACK version made by GMAN with PUP table. Have fun.

on VPX10.8 the F12 key brings up the table rules.

Of course. Edit the table script to look like below, around line 104 I think

Dim UseFlexDMD
If Table1.ShowDT = True then

Excellent table, really fun to play, really captures the mood of this masterpiece of a movie !!!

CONGRATULATIONS !!

 

Though, i would have a couple of modest suggestions / remarks :

 

1- i am surpirsed there is no sound on "hitting the carpet". It is acentral element of the gameplay and hitting it doesn't sounds anything special. Strange isn't it ? Or is it something wrong on my side ? (the rest of the table sound seems to be ok, music and sound effects are playing everywhere..)

2- Again abpout the carpet. The red display on top of the carped (the one that says we have to hit it) actuelly hides a big part of the rug itself and i can't really see it unrolling, too bad...) i play in cabinet mode and have adjusted the DOF the same i do for my other tables, it is not a question of perspective i think

3- I hate colored DMDs, but that's just my taste, a standard orange DMD would avec been great, there are way enough colors all over this table. Just my opinion 😉

4 - Music is acting weird, sometimes there no muysic at all before it comes bas, sometimes two play at the same time, the background music and music of a sequence, it sometimes sounds weird.

 

anyway, thanks again for this great table, it is not perfect but it's a real pleasure to play, my wife already digs it and we are having a lot of fun playing it.

I seem to be getting a script error when loading the table. Running final release of VPX 10.8.0.

Any idea?

table looks and plays great but im not getting any DMD to display anywhere     

im on a 3 screen setup

when alt tab i see no dmd   

what am i missing?

For anyone getting script errors, update to vpx 10.8 final and update to latest FlexDMD.

 

For people having problems with no DMD visible, start table then alt + tab to select virtualdmd window. Then alt + space and press M, then move the DMD with arrows or mouse.  Once in position, right click mouse on DMD and choose save for BigLebowski. DMD position and size will be saved in dmddevice.ini in VpinMame folder.
