How do i completely uninstall future pinball?

Question

Posted

I have a problem with future pinball (with monitors),  and i was thinking of installing it again from zero. I removed it in the windows, deleted left over's, but each time i install it, somehow it "sees" the tables that i have played before, so that means that it has some file that i haven't deleted!
Does anybody has any idea how to uninstall it completely?

It sounds like the only part of  FP that is  left on your PC is what is in the registry.  I only have a single monitor PC but I have never deleted the contents of the registry in the entire history of my use of FP.  I think uninstalling and deleting what is left should be enough to resolve your problem.  There are no hidden files for FP.  Everything it uses in in the Future Pinball folder except what is in the registry.

Make sure you are installing the newest FP and BAM Essentials AIO (2.6 currently)

If you installed the newest FP and BAM Essentials AIO 2.6, it shows you in the FP and BAM Install Guide how to remove the FP settings in the registry.

After doing that. it also shows you how to Reset your Display IDs. Run the BAT file it tells you, and reboot your PC.

If you are running PinEvent tables with no frontend.. then be sure you are disabling the FP Backbox if using PUP features on your other screens.

Use the "Start FP - PinEvent" bat file to start FP with no front-end. If using Popper, read my Popper and Baller Installer Tips.
