Metallica Premium Pin2DMD not working

Hi All

I need some help installing a Pin2DMD on a Metallica Premium machine.

All connected and booting up ok but all I get is a solid yellow screen after the splash screen.

Has anyone seen this before?

If I remove the sdcard I get the same except the screen is white instead of yellow.

@Redrum has been very helpful but this is a bit of a weird one.

Did the machine work with the original DMD ? Is there a little pcb piggybacked between the SAM cpu and the dmd ribbon cable.

Please make a picture of the SAM cpu.
