Make sure Use Sound is checked

Alt. Sound Mode value is 0

 

In game menu

hit the END key to open the coin door, hit 8 and 9 keys to raise or lower volume, END again to close the door

 

Thank you so much helping with this. I had taf_l7 and taf_l5c but, not taf_l5. The last one was the one that actually added the sound. Been a couple weeks missing the sound on this gem of a table.
