Pinsound versus PUP Pack

Hello,

 

I'm new in the virtual pinball community.

 

I have installed on my environment many vpx tables with pup pack and i have discovered Pinsound to improve the sounds and music.

I have understood that sounds and music are played by Pinsound when rom events are triggered.

In my mind, pup pack have the same reaction.

I don't understand the difference between pup pack and pinsound except that pinsound only manage audio.

On a specific table, must we choose between pinsound and pup pack to improve the sounds?

I usually turn down the pup pack sound since I am using pinsound. Thats the main reason why to use pinsound is like you said to enjoy the pinsound music. But you can always prefer one over the author according to your tast. You can also install table twice, one with pup pack and one with pinsound using vpmalias.
