PIN2DMD colorization software Metallica code 4.49 und (non EVO) display 4.35 problem

Hello folks !

 

I have an old display for sale that is about 3 years old.

It has V4.35 firmware, and I cannot renew it. (I get information that this is with an old processor - no EVO)

I bought a Metallica code but it only runs on 4.49 firmware (EVO?)

Can I go through coloring for this colorization?

I copy the PIN2DMD.upd file to SDcard and install to Display Controller card slot.

I turn on the pinball machine.

This is the update file for EVO but you say it is not a EVO.

The update files are hardware specific. Check you hardware against pictures from here

e.g If your unique device number starts with D or # you need the Discovery firmware,

if it starts with N you need the Nucleo firmware.
