Hello there,

 

here i want to present to you an upgraded version of Watacaractr "Tom and Jerry" table.


I have implemented the nFozzy Physics, Fleep Sounds, and a LUT selector (Hold LMagna and scroll through the LUTs with the RMagna).

To fit the screen i adjusted the POV and stretched the y-scale a little.

 

With the new Patching system, this and the future upgrades will be a ".dif" file.

Just read the included instructions !


I  want to thank @Watacaractrz for his table, VPW Team for their awesome example table, @Darkstar for testplaying and all other that are involved in there to deliver a much better VPX experience !

Tom and Jerry is a gem of a VPX conversion (originally from watacaractr) that has some beautiful 3D rendered models but I noticed that it did not have a built-in VR Room to show those 3D models in all of their glory! Lo and behold, I created a minimal VR Room and to Gedankekojote97's nFozzy version and then I found out there is a separate minimal room that psiomicron created with Sixtoe and Rawd. psio agreed to that being included in the hybrid and now we have a fully finished piece of art with all modes ready to play!

 

Here are the changes to v1.3:

 

Version 1.3- TastyWasps / psiomicron / Rawd / Sixtoe - 2023

 

* Hybrid version to complete this VPX package.

* Integrated psiomicron / rawd / sixtoe awesome VR room modeled after Jerry's mouse hole house.

* Added a minimal VR Room with cabinet artwork for VR.

* Desktop background upgraded to include logo.

Thanks for update 1.33, I now see a DMD and the table looks and plays great. Note, playfield reflections are turned off by default, looks much nicer with them on :)

I grew up watching Tom and Jerry and I actually laughed out loud when I heard Tom scream during play, its an iconic sound and I loved it.  The quality of the table is amazing, the plastic toys, the colors, for such an old table it should be announced that it exists.  Well done!

With the new physics, Fleep sounds and improvements this table has been lifted up by  quite a few notches.

It remains tough as nails though! 😁.
