@Wildman 's backglass for Trident is so badass, I had to try reskinning the entire table with more AI help.

ChatGPT did some magic on the graphics, but had an unfortunate knack for shifting playfield items, so it took all of my old fashioned paint shop tricks to make everything fit.

With upgraded graphics, it needed a sound mod.  I have included a ton of new sound effects and some music.

I already had a FlexDMD that I add to my collection of aquatic tables that fit in here nicely.

I have included Wildman's backglass with a new DMD screen designed for my flexDMD. If I messed anything up, I apologize.

I play in neither 4k, nor 3d so let me know if there are any alignment issues.

All additions can be turned on or off in the script as well as adjust volume.

I had been working on an earlier version for a couple weeks before discovering this gorgeous Hauntfreaks (and others) release.  This mod only looks good because their work is so good!

As often happens, this was not a table I previously had not played much at all, but working on these really makes you fall in love with their gameplay, especially those in the solid state era!

Nice Job I love it  .  It still keeps the original table play but with a modren updated look. thats why I been making these alt backglasses, Im one for the real tables thats all i play but the ALTS/updates I can make now are to cool to ignore. just gave it a quik play and it sweet so far cant wait to put it on the cab, thats were these ALTs really shine IMO.  hope you tinker with more of these Im just the BG guy not into making tables my plates full as it is lol... :wildman:

Response from the author:

Thanks for the review! I don't think I'll do many of these, but the original Trident is not pretty and needed a face lift. (I think Stern must have outsourced the graphics to a local high school) I only had it in my collection because I'm obsessed with anything ocean or beach related. It is good to know that I can do this for any ugly table I love playing!

Great work.

I would like to see and play this new concept. It´s close to Pinball FX tables or PC game tables

From now on most people will need two table folders, original tables and remastered version.

In the 80'S a table with design would be full of coins

The 3D is great with my .INI VPX GL settings for 3D passive playfield.

Thank you

Awesome, I like what your've done, but wasnt keen on the sounds, so i copy & paste the original script in checked sound in rom and whalla all good.

Response from the author:

Thanks! There are also options in the script to revert back to the rom sounds, or not use the music. I'll admit the sound effects are heavy handed! Overkill is kind of the main theme here!
