Metallica World Tour!

28 tracks with remastered dmd callouts. This was a lot of fun creating with djbootleggah, my good friend.

First ball you can select your song from the traditional list, every ball after that will be a random song from another folder.

If using multi-player 2nd ball music will be the same for all players until 3rd ball etc.

If you want to hear your songs longer play multiplayer by yourself! 😄

 

Crank it up modes will trigger correct song for the mode.

There are 3 different screen options and a vr/desktop option. 

There are 5 different backglass images that randomly display on startup if you choose option 3, everything on dmd.

 

I have created and included my own muted rom. It has the same name as another muted rom (mtl_180hc)

I tried to change the name of mine but it wouldn't play. So you can choose to use mine or the other one.

I don't have have dof working with this rom 180hc. I have the outdated version 1 dof setup so if anyone can confirm dof works with this one would be appreciated.

The muted rom included is the mtl_180hc color rom and does not show 100% accurate color when used with the .pac file. It is recommended to use the .pal file which Panasony has provided in the comment section, approximately 23rd comment down. It looks great.

 

Gamenames must be changed in script to mtl_180hc and mtl_180h72. I have included an image for reference.

Also this alias should be added to your VPMAlias.txt file in VPinMAME folder to run the pup.

This is the premier ,music , PUP!! Numero Uno, top dog, all others must bow in repect. On top of the fact that I grew up loving Metallica as my number one metal band in the early 80s, You have brought the full concert experience to an incredibly awesome stern Metallica rendition. I believe CapnClaw Also made a concert like venue in VR to go with this, Which elevates it to a whole new playing field. Thank you for this contribution to the community from a lifelong die hard Metallica fan you have done this table and band complete justice in this incredible VPX realm!!

@SpeedyBalls awesome pup man, really enjoy.

I dont know if its possible to have the live videos on the full dmd i will check this but its already so cool.

 

just one thing, i think you made the wrong rom muted -> it shoudl be (i think) the mtl_180h (instead of hc) to have the altcolor without bugs artefacts.

Before you made this pupack, I had this problem when i installed the hc rom previously and the community told me to take the h one (to have no artefacts bugs with the altcolor) -> it worked.

If you could try this it could be very cool .

I can't remember if I used the 180h or the 180hc originally when I muted it. I know If I used the 180h I would have to add the C or else everybody's 180h would be overwritten. Hopefully it doesn't affect the dmd too much.

 Yes there is an option to put the whole pup on the dmd and there are 5 backglass images that will randomly display. If you don't want those images to show you can deactivate that option in the pup editor.

Nice job . Thank you for making this and sharing looks good in the cab. Took me a little bit to figure it out with the different roms and the pac and pal altcolor. I'm running the pup with zedmd and together it looks awesome .  Thank you.
