This is Gottlieb's Astro conversion for export to Italy. It has no relationship to the American TV series.

This was another absolute joy to work on with Haunt. I learn so much from him it's staggering. I'm a stickler for details and sure I annoyed him at times but he tolerates me :)

Thanks for letting me help, Haunt! It turned out ridiculously gorgeous

That looks awesome! But what else do you expect from a legendary team like this! Haven't tried it yet but i know it plays as great as it looks!

Looks great ! Thanks to Hauntfreaks, BorgDog & Cliffy for this meticulous update. I also got the updated backglass because it's a must. If only @guet35could make a topper for this one , it would be complete 🙂

Crap? LOL! :P This baby was great to start with. All we did was put a coat of wax on 'er! :)

Thanks guys, nice work, but for me the balls weren't loading into the trough so I had to increase the Slingshot Force from 8 to 10 for Wall27 and Wall29.

hummm... odd neither of those use the slingshot option... and the ball never makes contact with those walls...  but hey whatever worked for ya...

are you running in a cabinet? Did you accidently change the z scale while fitting to your cab? That's all I can think of. Like haunt said I don't see how changing anything to do with wall27/9 would affect balls in the trough

Well, I don't know. The balls wouldn't roll out of Trough2 to the plunger lane. So it was trial and error from there and this worked for me. Now I can play = happiness!

man that is so fuckin odd!!!.... proof right there , that VP is far from an exact science .... glad you got it working
can you send us your Star Trek (Gottlieb 1971) 1.1.ini file (or whatever you named the table)

The one odd thing about my setup is that the left side of my cab is against the wall, so I have to rotate all my tables 180 degrees in window mode. Please see attached for my .ini file. Thanks

@Roadblock so I cant say this was the issue, but in the 10yrs I been messing with VP its a big no no to ever have Z scale more than 1.0..... looking at the ini file its set to 1.38
I would love for you to change that line in the ini... and set the walls back the way they were as default... to see what happens
I understand if you dont feel like doing it... but its this type of tinkering how we find issues like this...

I've reset the walls to their original settings and set my Z scale to 1.0 and voilà the table works fine.

I had no idea that adjusting the windowed pov would offset the Z scale (the Z scale is only shown in legacy or camera mode). I'll keep an eye on that setting from now on. Thanks guys!

no one knows why that matters since its just an visual setting.....
BUT thank you for doing the test.... enjoy the table
