This is an updated version of Dozer316's Capt. Fantastic.  Thanks for permission to mod!

This table includes VR support which includes a fully working mirrored backglass.  See the reflection of the room and table!  The original backglass image was taken from a B2S by Stat (which may have come from Hauntfreaks...not sure).   It has been however heavily modified.  I used Ba Sti's VR Room from Rawd's "EZ Grab" VR Room.

Other updates to this version includes updated to nFozzy Physics (including roth drop targets) and Fleep sound package, new playfield and plastics (Thanks Rajo Joey!), new apron, new flippers (Thanks Bord!), changes to bonus light behaviour, various other table changes, including changes to various lighting, adding missing pegs and rails.

Table options are at the top of the script, including options for VR and cabinet mode.

A huge thanks for everyone who tested this table and recommended changes: Bord, Thalamus, Rothbauerw, PinStratsDan, Apophis.  Your advice really helped fixed many issues and is very much appreciated!  Thanks to Rajo Joey for the updated playfield and plastics and again to Bord for the new Flippers.

Idigstuff updated his mod to work on this version.   His mod will apply the music mod to this table in a few easy steps.  Get it here:

Great job at this one @leojreimroc !!

I've been torn about this one for a while now. I kind of liked JPS version of it, but, well, for some odd reason he decided that he didn't want to keep it original to the real machine. And, then you come along and upgrade Dozer's which is also installed, with the correct 2 left flippers etc. Seems the others have to go now. Beta testing showed me that this is "the one to beat", much appreciated and big 👍 to you.

I definitely looked at all versions when I started, and JP's is definitely fantastic, but in the end, I always prefer tables to be as accurate to the originals as possible, and that missing flipper was just too much of a problem for me.  It's still a fun table with the 2 standard flippers, but I don't know.....it doesn't have the same personality as the 2 left flipper one.

I thought JP released a "regular" version with three flippers as well.

I believe JP modified akiles50000's table.  Or both of them probably worked on both versions.  Either way, that 2 flipper version was uploaded by akiles50000.

Ha! If only VPVR had a way to track the headset position, getting yourself (or at least a picture of yourself) reflected might be possible.

Very nicely done.

Can't seem to get DOF working properly with proper gamename being 'captfantastic'.

I have the latest config but yet don't get any action from flippers, slingshots or bumpers.

Any suggestions?

I'm just looking at the script, and the DOF for flippers seems to be missing.

There is some DofOff for releasing the button, but no DoffOn on 101 and 102.

edit : it seems there is a mistake with line 500 and 515.
Both of them should activate the DOF and activate the buzz sound, and it seems it's the contrary.

Hi. First of all,  Thank you. Great job. I love it.

I got DOF working for chime, but I can't get flippers, slings, drop targets and bumpers feedback.

I will keep old version for while, but I can't wait for playing this version with DOF.

Thanks

Nice table. But to me the ball seems kinda floaty/dead. No real action to it. Is there something to change to make it more lively ?

Or is it just me. I was playing JP's new v4 before going to this one and that ball was flying. Maybe thats why  ?

Anyways nice table and all.

I think I broke the DOF (or never put it back in when I changed all the sounds).  I'll look at fixing it in the coming week.

A lot of experimentation went into the physics for this one.   I tried a few things out, but I mostly went with the nFozzy default for EMs but with a few minor changes, especially with the rubber posts (which honestly, I might tune down just a bit on a next update).  It's definitely floaty, as EMs should be in my opinion.  I based the physics mostly on my own EM and on PapaPinball Video on youtube.  I went for a rather floaty feel, but with springy elastics and semi powerful bumpers and slingshots.  If you look at that video, look at how floaty the ball is, especially right after the plunge as it hits the top lane elastics.  The gameplay will never be as fast as a 90s table.  I find EMs usually go from really fast action as it hits slingshots and bumpers to near dead waiting to see where it goes.

Thank you very much for updating this table, and for the possibility to add idigstuff mod ❤️.

I was kinda worried that it wasn't included ;)

Definitely thank IDigstuff for that.  He made the mod.  I'm happy he made it work with this table as well!

The mirrored effect is incredible.  I can only imagine the amount of work that went into figuring this out.  GREAT JOB.
