Mysterious Backglass in Goonies!

I've been looking for a fix for this for days. I've tried all kinds of different recommendations in forums all the way back to 2017 and nothing works.

 

The table previews work fine, but when I launch Goonies there is a Goonies frame around the BG, but the BG behind it is 'The Amazing Spiderman'. Now here's a weird thing...this BG is NOWHERE in the HDD! I've checked the entire HDD for it. There are other Spiderman BGs, but this specific one is not there. How can this be?

 

• I've set the correct BG in PinUp Popper > Media Manager.
• I've set the Keep the Media ON option

 

If anyone has an idea, please let me know.

I read something about strange behavior with "forgotten" files with names like .directb2s left in table-dir check it..

You were 100% correct...there was a file that just read .directb2s and nothing else...i deleted it made sure all files had the same name as their tables and Goonies works! THANKS!
