Cannot Create ActiveX component VPX 10.8.0

Hi,

 

I get this error when launching any table with VPX 10.8.0. Any idea what to do? I went to internet explorer settings and made sure ActiveX was enabled.

You need to install vpinmame. Go to vpiname folder and run setup.exe, check paths look good, click install. Do the same with setup64.exe

I redownloaded the 10.8.0 and it is now working.

Looks like I needed to do the install vpinname as well to get more tables to work. Thank you!

thank you ive had the same issue  and struggled to find the problem thanks to the comments i discovered i needed vipimame to update from 1.90 to 1.91       problem solved
