Spacegoogie Posted February 10, 2024 Posted February 10, 2024 So I have noticed that last few updates, When opening a table the menu that would pop up on the right with all the layer and options is gone! Can someone please tell me where this window has gone to or is it just another new issue with newest updates? Thanks!
Cliffy Posted February 10, 2024 Posted February 10, 2024 Unless you're prepared to deal with oddball stuff like this I wouldn't use 10.8.1 as its a nightly experimental version right now. It's primarily intended for some dedicated testers who are reporting bugs to github daily. For every day use 10.8.0 release candidate is recommended https://github.com/vpinball/vpinball/actions/runs/7856899703
Spacegoogie Posted February 10, 2024 Author Posted February 10, 2024 Thanks @Cliffy It also seems like its happening on 10.8.0 as well. Unless I changed something. Is there a way to re-enable this, going crazy not having the layer option window on the right when I open a table.
Cliffy Posted February 10, 2024 Posted February 10, 2024 did you try the reset options in the editor/UI preferences?
Spacegoogie Posted February 11, 2024 Author Posted February 11, 2024 Now running 10.8.0 1883 and same thing, the window is missing, lol what in the hell is going on.
Spacegoogie Posted February 11, 2024 Author Posted February 11, 2024 It has to be on my end because it is happening to every ver. Just don't know how it got this way so cant figuerout how to fix.
Cliffy Posted February 11, 2024 Posted February 11, 2024 sometimes each pane is minimize so you need to use the mouse to find it's title bar and then move near where you want it and then drop it onto the pop up grid like pic attached
Spacegoogie Posted February 11, 2024 Author Posted February 11, 2024 WORKING! So I ran 10.7.4 Final, did the resets in there it forced closed. Reopened 10.7.4 Final did the reset again, no force close. I closed, Opened the 10.8.0 1883 and the Layer and Options window was there. That was weird, I noticed it was missing over a week ago lol. My wife is starting to realize that this project is a never ending one lol... always something lol. Thanks again for the feedback @Cliffy!
