Invalid pointer operation logged to PinUPDisplayError.log on gotg_2020 Pup-Pack crash.

I seem to have the same / similar issue that a several others have mentioned in other threads online that the Pup-Packs Guardians of the Galaxy  (gotg_2020, https://vpuniverse.com/files/file/6127-guardians-of-the-galaxy/) crashes during gameplay.

Sometimes it takes a ball, sometimes I get to play up to 5ish, but it may crash with anything in between. I've been looking everywhere for a solution and the only hint towards what is wrong is `PinUPDisplayError.log`  having an entry like `20240203 23:22:16 Invalid pointer operation`. I thus believe this is a bug in Pinup Popper (PinUpDisplay.exe or PinUpDisplayX.exe). Is there anything I can / should do to help?

My setup is with an Intel Arc A770, Intel i5-12600k, 64GB ram and I have had no issues with any other  Pup-Packs and this happens while just launching the game directly from Visual Pinball (64bit, 10.8 RC1).

For anyone that stumbles upon this later: What eventually solved this for me was replacing the Arc A770 with a Nvidia card.

Interesting.  I've been having this for quite a while when playing FX3 games.  need to exit popper then re-launch.   typically I play Aliens and it happens every time.

I do get deubug logs with an older 1.4.6.462:

20240729 20:33:56 Invalid pointer operation

But I can't really troubleshoot it.
