Jazc4
I've read a ton on here to avoid asking basic questions, but I'm stuck. The PCWay ordering process went well and I've put together my first Pin2dmd evo board and LED screens following the instructions on Pin2dmd.com. I use the .dfu file with the DfuSEDemo Utility to upload the firmware to the device using the user USB port in dfu mode. I didn't know if I should expect the screens to be blank until the firmware is installed, but they have yet to come on. I checked that the controller board is getting 12v and the LED screens are getting 5v (4.76 actual). I confirmed that the LED boards are good with a Pin2dmd evo I previously purchased. I'm not sure if the controller board has an issue or if I'm not flashing the firmware properly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Content Provider lucky1 Posted January 31 Content Provider Share Posted January 31 I think you have overwritten the DFU file from my github by reading out the empty flash. The transferred data size does not match the filesize of my dfu files ! Targets in file should also display PIN2DMD instead of Internal Flash. Jazc4
Thanks Lucky. That was the problem. I reinstalled the master tree and it worked no problem. Thanks again.
