Real quick, So I'm not one to spend big bucks on things I always go the cheaper rout. 

I found with this app riftcat you can use an android device as a VR headset (S20 Ultra 4k rez) and Riftcat makes SteamVR think you have a headset connected.

I can load up a table and play it in VR! Now to grab a cheap headset with good lenses. The only thing I can't get working is  the VR Launcher to launch a tables from within the launcher, but that's a problem im having outside of the VR anyway.

Launching the tables from VPXGL works fine!

This method does in fact work for anyone not wanting to run out and spend $$$ and just want to give it a shot. 

If you try this let me know how it worked for you.
