Hello.

I've enjoyed the vpin experience since I got into it a couple of months ago and have been trying to learn all I can about the developer side and creating tables from scratch. I can read the scripts from other tables fine, but with Visual Pinball I haven't found much documentation on the technical details of the properties and methods of the different objects. The majority of my searches  'on how do i do _this_ in visual pinball...' end up pointing me to results in the VPE documentation with quite a bit of technical details about what this or that is, and/or how you use it.

Getting into Unity was on my list anyway, so makes learning VPE from the start attractive, but I'd appreciate some input from more experienced developers on where I could best invest my time. Thanks.

It kinda depends on what you enjoy doing. If you wanna get into Unity anyway, start doing some tutorials. If 3D art is your thing, do some Blender tutorials, they're useful for both VPX and VPE. I can't recommend diving into VPE right now, since too much stuff is still changing.
