chriss4198 Posted January 4, 2024 Posted January 4, 2024 Hey all, made the mistake of allowing a windows update. Now my backglass monitor is designated as monitor 4 in windows, which is not allowed with B2S. Tried switching the cables to no avail. Only works when I unplug the topper cable. Any idea how to swtich? Hoping this is an easy fix...Thanks soooo much!
Leecher200 Posted January 25, 2025 Posted January 25, 2025 Funny , I got the same feeling that a Win11 Update mess up my Screen configuration. After one Week of searching I got it nearly back in org. Configuration. Maybe you have a Look with PinUpDisplay.exe. My Problem is that the Topper Video is not fill the Monitor anymore. If someone tell me how to stretch the Topper Video I will include him in my daily evening prayers.
deadmanworking Posted January 25, 2025 Posted January 25, 2025 (edited) Chris, if the monitor order is messed up (happens once in a while for me too) you could try resetting the order stored in the Registry like so: -Unplug all but main display, power down, reboot -open Registry Editor and go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers There are 3 subfolders named Configuration, Connectivity, ScaleFactors, delete them or rename them by appending ".old" -power down again and reboot, then power down again -plug in second monitor and reboot, then power down again -plug in third monitor and so on. Going step by step should ensure you get your monitor order back to what it was before the update. Edit: added a screenshot of the registry entries in question, as you can see I've been down that road a few times .. Edited January 25, 2025 by deadmanworking added screenshot
