ledwiz and lockdown bar fire button

im using ledwiz for a rgb strips  and other toys but when i hook up fire button to it port 6   it stays on i looked in config tools it says port6 fire button  is that the one i use for fire button if so how does it work or am i hooking up the led wrong

Is the fire button an addressable LED ? Or just a standard 5v LED Button that can light up ?

 

The output wire usually outputs a PWM signal to tell the controller chip in a ws28xx strip / LED what to do, what color and for how long. If you're not using a serial addressable LED on that button, you may have to configure that particular toy a different way.

its just 5 v led in the button i figured you add power to the light and put ground in port 6  i test the other ports that are used and they are not activated until its needed
