Soft nudging like in Pinball Arcade?

After many years, Bad Cats (Williams 1989) VPW Mod 3.0 got me back into Visual Pinball and it's amazing compared to how i remembered it!

 

I play on pc, desktop mode, with an xbox controller.

 

I was a fan of Pinball Arcade and it's generous nudging system. Can it be replicated in Visual Pinball? Can you slightly move a stick to the right, see the table move slightly to the right and have the ball go left without tilting?  I have joytokey also.
