10.8 Newest Version - Where can I download?

I keep seeing posts where people are mentioning 10.8 releases that are newer than the 10.8 Beta 5 that came out on August 9 of this year, but I cannot find where to download them. All of the links to GitHub for the newest releases of VPX point to the 10.8 Beta 5 version from August 9.

 

Can someone please let me know where these other releases are located? Thanks!

The "artifacts" at the bottom of the page are the different flavors of VPX on that build.  You have to be logged in for them to become clickable/downloadable.

Hey all,

 

Just reviving this thread - and apologies in advance for the rookie questions as I am new to the community: got myself an old cabinet that I repaired/refreshed with a new PC.

I used the PinUP Popper "Baller" installer to get going - which does a great job at pre-installing all the latest stable versions of all programs (including VPX 10.7), all working nicely for the most part.

 

But quickly realised that more and more "star" tables are getting upgraded by our beloved legendary content creators to use 10.8, and the latest lot I downloaded all failed to launch asking for VPX to get updated to the latest 10.80 beta.

Do we have an ETA for a proper release, that would be included in the baller installer? (it's been stuck in beta for many months now - is that expected?)

Should I make the jump and overwrite the stable files with the beta ones?

Bit worried some older tables stop working... What's your experience so far with the latest alpha/beta version?

I just set up a new build and am just getting my feet wet with Baller Installer, so I have no idea which GL version it installed.  It just says 10.8.0 on the .exe

1.start VPX exe -> Help -> About... shows your exact version

2. start pinup menu setup exe -> hit that small "Globe" Button to update...

Ok, I get it now.  

In addition to the vpinballX_GL64, there's the regular vpinabll64.exe that's 10.8.0.  I probably didn't see it before because I'm an idiot.

Thanks for the Globe Update button, I did not see that either. everything updated with newer versions and it still works!
