Repeating issue trying to use a muted rom along with pup packs

not table specific as this seems to happen repeatedly to me.  I feel like it happens more now with 10.8 perhaps??

 

Get a pup pack (in this example Avengers) and it contains a muted rom (avs_170c.zip)

 

Put the rom in the Rom folder

Edit the script and change the cGameName line, add the "c" to the end of the rom name

 

Get error

Game says its not there

 

I feel like I did this a few months ago with no issue with multiple tables.  What am I missing, is this a 10.8 bug?  Are muted roms only designed for certain versions of a table vpx file?
